An interview with Carole

The fact that Hypnotherapy can help you identify barriers and release them absolutely blew my mind and I knew when that first happened for me that I wanted to know more and more.

I have always had an interest in what is thought of as alternative healing methodology. The mind is such a powerful thing and being able to tap into the subconscious has always fascinated me.

I first went to a hypnotherapist to help with stress and found it to be very beneficial – it taught me some exercises through relaxation to help and also (surprisingly to me at the time) helped me identify barriers that I was putting up to halt progress in my life.

For me I think the first time I experienced the breaking down of barriers and the why behind some issues I realised that this was a powerful tool for me.

When I first went to hypnotherapy I thought I was doing it wrong as I didn’t feel like I had been hypnotised. I swear I thought it wasn’t working but of course the subconscious was working away and I learnt to relax and try not to second guess what was happening or what I thought should happen.

I wanted to know more and knew that I could help people as I had been helped.

Virtual gastric banding is one of the methods we can use to aid in weight loss. It is a program and takes several sessions and I know from personal experience that it can work and that it really does help people. Weight can really effect self esteem and everyone deserves to feel good about themselves, love themselves and we often compare ourselves to a perceived idea of what is acceptable to look like. But I believe we need to find a way that will help us understand that this is about what we feel for ourselves. Virtual Gastric banding is a great program that can be used as a tool to help address these issues. What could be a better motivator than that.

Firstly I want them to feel relaxed and feeling good about themselves. I also want them to believe in themselves, the process and lean into it. It is not always what people think it will be and therefore it is good if people come with an open mind and just trust in themselves and the process.
